The Deep Side Of Freestyle in
Vocal House Party
Hiya! Thanks for the note.. All of my music is vinyl from back in the 80's. Alot of it was promo/white label stuff way before they were hits. The unknown tracks were xuch labels... However, if you know freestyle, it was all out of new york. So, bascially there were only a few labels... Metropolitan, Mic Mac, Viper (which was owned by Metropolitan), and high power records.. There were a few underground labels, but after 20 years, those names escape me. Also, back in my day of spinning, we would cover up the labels so noone stopping by the booth could get a look at the artist/song that was playing... May be it's a Philly thing.. But to this day, my collection is mostly label covered with shortened names of the tracks and has the BPM listed. Glad you enjoyed the music.. When I get back from Vegas, I'll post another mixset.. I'm an old head.. I don't spin alot of the new stuff. All the tracks I have of recent music is digital.
Peace.
