Hi mate, thanks for your feedback on my deep sessions 2 mix, yeah you`re right Salted is owned by Migs, I`ve been a big fan for years. I`m gonna drop the Police track in a Christmas mix I reckon, It`s a fab remix! Cheers mate Steve
Soul Food Mallorca - wow! What an awesome track. Anything released by Salted Music always has my vote (a big fan of Miguel Migs who I think is connected to that label).
Great set as ever mate - lovely smooth deep vibe.
Look forward to your next set with great anticipation - possibly with that Scott Wozniak's remix of Every Breath You Take, which would have fitted nicely in this set too.
Hi mate, glad you liked "Pussy Wagon" & yeah, I`m becoming quite a fan of Scott Diaz, his tracks are so clean & well produced. Thanks for listening mate Steve
With a title like that you got my attention! Nice one! Thought there was going to be some kind of Kill Bill theme which I think is where that name/vehicle is from.
A great set mate - especially those Scott Diaz tracks. The bomb!
Stand out track for me is Doug Willis' "Get Down Tonight" - a big fan of Joey Negro/Dave Lee - his Z Records website has some great remixes/edits - his disco inspired tracks always deliver (for me).
Hi mate, thanks for your support on soulful 6. Yeah the opening track is from Joey negro`s new compilation album with lots of old tracks on, and damn fine tracks they are too! I nearly wet myself when I listened to all the tracks in full! ;-)
Dave Lee seems to be pushing his Joey Negro stuff alot lately, which for me is brilliant - his Z Records website has some great tracks if you haven't already checked it out.
Will have a good listen to this set in depth over the next few days - but from the brief snapshot I had time for it sounds like another cracker from you!
Hi mate, glad you enjoyed, thnx for vote & comment. Yeh Sandy Turnbull one to watch, He`s from Sheffield, recently had a release on Soulfuric & Blacklist, bringin some nice tunes out! ;-)
This is brilliant! Loving "I'll Take You" especially - not heard that track before but a big fan of Richard Earnshaw and Frankie Knuckles so it was always going to be a winner!
Kenny Dope is always a good choice - only really started to listen to more of his work lately but love it.
Sandy Turnbull is new to me but will find out more - one of the main reasons I joined mix.dj was the new (to me) music I came across. Never disappoints and always surprises me (in a good way).
Great work, lovely vibe, and a pleasure to listen to!
Hi mate, thanx for the vote & great comment, glad you enjoyed it. Ha, I think I have quite a way to go until I have as many names as Dave Lee, but Ill a have a go! Cheers mate! Steve, or is it Lee? ;-)
Hey mate, thanks for listening and voting soulful 5, also thnx for the great comment, much appreciated. I`ve been thinking of puttin together a more laid back, lazing by the pool sun drenched kinda mix (for the sun) Lets see what happens, I`ll keep you posted! Thanks again mate Steve
