Désoler pour ce commentaire très tardif...

Ma première penser c'est RESPECT, pour ton Talent et ta créativité et ton Professionnalisme.

J'adore l'ambiance que tu créer dans ton mix, une nappe Soul-Jazzy avec un petit beat Funky-punchy a certain
moment ce qui donne une atmosphère envoutante qui frise parfois le féerique,
le tout joncher de vocal
c'est un véritable moment de bonheur pour moi...

Je te détaille les différentes sensations que je ressent lorsque j'écoute de ton petit bijou.

Comme je te l'ai déjà signifier dans un de mes messages, tu me fait l'effet d'un chef d'orchestre,tout au long de ton mix j'ai l'impression que chacun de tes titres représentent un instrument que tu dirige au grès des émotions qu'ils peuvent éveiller en toi.

Je suis épater par ta capacité à nous faire voyager dans ton jardin musicale,
(où, entre nous tu n'as que de belles petites fleurs...) tu est un véritable magicien, j'aime beaucoup la façon dont
tu fais évoluer ton mix.

Pour ce qui est de la technique c'est du Grand Art...Personnellement j'espère qu'un jour je serai capable d'atteindre ton niveau de précision. Tu fait apparaitre les bons sons au bons moments et bon endroit
même tes effets (petits cuts) sont bien placer, tu remet de l'intensité quand il le faut pour relancer l'ensemble...
Au risque de me répéter
"Monsieur Track 11" ce n'est que du Grand Art

Ta playlist n'as été qu'une succession de découverte, ce ne sont que des titres
que j'aurai aimer avoir dans mon cd's bag.

"Feel it in your soul" annonce l'arriver d'un grand moment (ce titre à la même intensité que "In The Stone" de EWF).

Tes passages sont tellement cohérents et bien travailler que l'ont ne se rend même pas compte que l'ont a changer de titres c'est une suite logique, ça coule de source, j'ai l'impression d'écouter un titre de 64 minute (c'est trop fort).
J'aime beaucoup ce petit air de flute qui apporte une certaine note de légèreté et la dynamique que tu relance au environ des 07:45 c'est énorme...et là, au fur et à mesure, ont découvre ton coté galopin

Si je peut me permettre? peut être une infime incohérence entre Mamas Brother & Surrender de Miguel Migs
Ah et là c'est superbe? tu as l'art de la dynamique bien placer le passage au alentours des 18:40-45 avec le
Jazz impression
(Track 11 Never Compromise dub).
Tu "m'énerve" tu maitrise trop bien....

Et c'est reparti, sur une note un peu plus funky avec le "You will rise" encore une fois ont ne ce rend pas compte que l'ont ai déjà au "Find the way" de Lisa shaw, (Merci ) j'adore la douceur de ce passage, Le Vincenzo lovebird "Music" et le reflet de ta facette "Underground" un son un peu plus profond mais avec un groove bien présent tu fait selon moi le bon choix avec Geoffrey Williams qui démarre dans une ambiance plus sombre et qui fait repartir la dynamique avec ces vocaux,encore un petit coup de Génie...

C'est tellement fluide que l'ont en ai déjà au "Life is Like" que tu va faire couler avec une tel fluidité (Mais comment tu fais??)

Petit sax plein d'émotion accompagner par un jeu de percu et suivi du descente dans les profondeurs de notre âme...Que du Bonheur.Je suis impressionner.
"Do it to the music" (Il me semble que c'est un ancien titre revisiter, Non?) et l'ont glisse de nouveau sur le
"Find The way" de Lisa Shaw.
Le bon remix au bon moment, comme je te le spécifie un peu plus haut, tous est placer quand il faut et là ou il faut.
Alors là!!! c'est Génial tu reviens avec le premier titre "Feel in your soul" mais un remix diffèrent, c'est Énorme ....
j'aime beaucoup la monter qui intervient vers les 54:00 "The little big band" petites notes de guitare funky qui s'impose, nous voilà déjà à la 61:00 avec Miguel Migs et son "Day of color" et ce joli son de sax qui nous accompagne et s'éclipse avec douceur tous en nous laissant deviner à notre grand regret que nous sommes au terme de notre voyage dans ton univers Féerique et Magic...

Ta place en haut du chart était bien mérité Pour moi,tu as une âme de chef d'orchestre, j'en suis convaincu...

Pour ne rien te cacher je l'ai télécharger et je l'ai écouter plusieurs fois et toujours avec autant de plaisir...

Tu est plein de talent et tu mix avec ton coeur "c'est pour moi ce qu'il y a de plus beau".

Pour ce qui est des artistes et de nos gout communs, j'ai dans ma pochette du Roed Svensk, Miguel Migs, Stereo Mutant
et bien sur Richard Earnshaw,Ethan White, Lisa Shaw et The little big band.

Voilà c'est bien la première fois que je fais un commentaire aussi détailler et je te souhaite bon courage pour la traduction...

What can I say - lovely set . Mixing that matches the style, "breakdown & build" mixes that don't linger forever , but as the tracks are so well matched, it just ramps up the pace from one track to another - horns & hammonds aplenty in track # 5 which I loved . . Labelled as deep house, and true to it's roots from start to finish

Track 11, this is again a wonderful mix from a true artist in his own right. I saw the tracklisting and was gutted I had to wait ALL DAY to hear it

However, I am glad I am able to sit and listen properly and completely enjoy this wonderful mix. A beautifully flowing set that makes me wanna get groovy :-)

Love all the tracks, especially from 5/6 onwards, very funky tracks that I enjoy anyway! (now sounding better ;-).

Blue Six, Miguel Migs, Vincenzo, Bah Samb! What more do you need?

One word describes this - MASTERPIECE!

Just scrolling down the playlist and seeing all those fabulous DJs/artists I had a huge smile on my face - Danny Clark, Miguel Migs, Lisa Shaw, Blue Six and Raw Silk. Who could ask for more!

First things first - loving the cover art - not sure when this was taken but if it was from the 60s (it has the look about it) then I'm sure its a good representation of how young ladies of that time listened to vinyl!

I would love to say that this comment/review will be short but I dont think that will happen. I wont comment on every track, just ones that have a particular resonance for me. That is not to say those tracks I dont comment on are not good - all these tracks are great (I've listened to this set three times now) - but it would take me all day to write this if I listed every one!

"Feel It In Your Soul" - so good to hear the Reprise and Deep Excursion dropped in on this set.Didn't know too much about Andrew Holder but brilliant all the same.

The next bit I have to say is uncanny. When Journey To The Sun (Trip No.1) was released on mix.dj I was reminded of "Feel It on Your Soul" when I heard "I Love Soul". The tracks section from Out of the Storm through to Mamas Brothers all have that I Love Soul feel to it - its like coming back full circle!

Danny Clark, along with Joey Negro, produce tracks that harken back (in my humble opinion) to the summers of the seventies - they both have managed to capture that feeling but with a contemporary vibe. It's like a reinvention and extension of music that I already love - and yet they have added something more. Epic sounds that never cease to amaze me.

"Suddenly" - Miguel Migs - I could probably write an essay on this DJ alone, but I wont (for everyone's sake!). "Surrender" is taken from the excellent Colorful You album - this album alone was a revelation to me - after which I bought a fair bit of his music ! I "almost" had the pleasure to meet him once (sadly couldn't make it to that party),and although I'm not the "crazed obsessed fan" type,it would have nice to have met him and just show my appreciation to a talented artist. Other favourite tracks of his include "Soul Vibe" (from the same Colorful You album) and "Get Down (Dolls Comber Spring Vocal)" to name just but two. "Days of the Color" right at the end of this set is another fantastic track, aswell as being an excellent way to bring this set to its conclusion, from this legendary DJ.

"Let's Do It Together" - If I ever see Blue Six in a set then I'm naturally drawn to it. Ever since hearing their track "Music & Wine" a few years back I have always liked their style. "Let's Do It Together" delivers, big time! "All I Need" and "Keep It Pure" are other tracks of theirs that I really like. Miguel Migs even did a remix of their Keep It Pure track as he was something to do with the same Naked Music label as Blue Six at the time(I think).

"Find The Way" - combines two artists that I am big fans of, namely Richard Earnshaw and Lisa Shaw. Earnshaw has such a distinctive style and one that I have always enjoyed ever since hearing his "Unbelievable" track a couple of years ago. Upbeat tempos and his unique style mean that he will be high on my list.

Lisa Shaw's voice is such that you would recognise it most places - one of my favourites of hers is "Feel What You Know" which in certain aspects is quite similar to "Find The Way".

"And It's Beautiful" - never heard this track before but absolutely love it.I have only come across Bah Samba once before on a track called Spanish Hustle (a collaboration with The Fatback Band) which funnily enough I have discussed (in a round about way) with Track 11. I didn't know that Bah Samba would be on this set but its funny how things like that happen, unexpectedly!

"Life I Like" - I know nothing about Cathy Campani/Richard Gow but loving the French speaking layered on top of the beat.There are quite a few tracks I have heard and loved over the years that use this style (with the sensual French speaking style - this does not include Enigma though!). Top Tune!

"Do It To The Music" - this is a knock out remix of that post Disco classic. I think Raw Silk original was released in 1982 and this track has been sampled quite a few times (Kid Creme's "Hypnotizing" being the one track I can think of off the top of my head). Some of the members of Raw Silk were part of a group called Crown Heights Affair - who released the unbelievably brilliant "Dreaming A Dream" in 1975 (I'm a big early/underground disco fan). So while I havent followed everything they've done it was great to hear this Roots Vocal Mix version of their original.

This is a brilliant set, really well constructed and very cleverly put together. A lot of thought has obviously gone into the selection of the tracks that compliment each other extremely well.

Look forward to the next superstar set that Track 11 delivers!
