Was House Music of the 80’s & 90’s ever really good? Judging by these tracks from the past, I’d say they’re still danceable. Now keep in mind when I make these mixes, I wanted to use songs that can still be heard with no problems. If I was going “Technotronic”, I wasn’t going to put your usual “Pump up the Jam” or “Get up”. Instead, I figure I throw one that was more or less noticed like “Spin that Wheel”. This – like the rest of my volumes – have a combination of the 90’s and 80’s with classic ways of mixing and let’s not forget a time of record skipping, you’ll hear one. Glen Frisha live at palladium use to mix like this on hot 97 Saturday Night Dance Party from 9:PM to Midnight. If you want to make a mix utilizing classics, you have to bring back by periods not by decade alone.
