Mince, Enigma, fondé si je ne me trompe en 1990, c'est un Roumain a l'origine de ce projet: Michael Cretu...Il a eu une très bonne idée (très lucrative aussi) de mélanger des chants grégoriens sur des beats downtempo + des nappes de synthes planantes, le second qui a eu la bonne idée dans l'histoire, c'est toi car ça fait plaisir a beaucoup de monde de (re) découvrir cela, c'est très bien agencé, comme toujours (un plaisir) surtout que sur ce coup là t'as sans doute pas eu trop facile niveau transitions (bpm différents) Bref du tout bon Angelo et merci pour cette fabuleuse idée...Dois je encore te préciser pour le vote que...

Aaaah, un mix spécial énigma, gros succès des années 90 que j'avais bien kiffé à l'époque. Et hop le 1er track ns remet direct ds l'ambiance : chants grégoriens, beats calmes et sympa & SURTOUT LA VOIX DE CHAUDASSE, raaaaaaaaa
Et les indiens ds le tracks 3 aussi, que de souvenirs génial le sample à la 15ème minute (tout pile), grand moment d'opéra, brrrrr mes poils fretillent Le track 10 aussi mortel, le mec me fait carrément penser à sting. 52ème minute bien bien cool le sample de violon "pincé"... Bon ben encore un gros merci alors pr le retour ds le temps, sympa ce mix bien que ça soit pas totally ma came Tschouss!

Désolé mon poto, je préfère être franc. J'ai pas trop accroché celui-ci . Trop trop calme pour moi, certes de belles sonorités mais bon voilà... En ces fêtes de fin d'année qui approchent, je suis déjà en mode fiesta donc..., enfin tu me diras j'suis pratiquement en mode fiesta toute l'année moi .

Alors la bravo qu'elle idée d'avoir eu ce best of Enigma....Hé hé c'etait un ricard millésimé sur ce coup là surtout qu'il est pas évident à enchainé..Mais l’Équilibre tu l as trouvé et les meilleurs tracks aussi Belle opération coup de poing mon poto..c'etait pas evident Pour info le Marquis de Sade à été emprisonné prés de chez moi au château de Miolan à St pierre d'Albigny pendant 30 ans lol...Pour répondre à HON ..notre mystérieux ami..

Ha I went throu Enigma phase a while ago..I'll tell you what killed my Enigma phase. Anyway I was in Amsterdam with all my friends the usual coffee shops in and out the sex shops and fuckin cold! Anyway went to that stupid live sex show...And there principles of lust came on and a worn out whore did a stupid sex show with a guy who looked like Barry our local tramp...yuk it was shit he had a floppy dick! Anyway we went out the the stupid show had a another joint..a coffee..and this guy told us to come and see the sex show..we said no way we just saw the shittyest sex show ever..no thanks..anyway he talked us into to coming in to see the hottest sex show in amsterdam and not shit like the last... So we sat there and before the cutains opened the music came on and yeah it was the principles of lust...AAAARRRRRRRGGGGHHHHH it was that same fuckin old whore with that Barry tramp look alike...either way 50

C'était étonnant le son d'Enigma quand même.
Du chant grégorien, du Carl Orff, des réminiscences de Vangelis, une ambiance mystico-sensuelo-new-age synthétique...
En fait, certains trucs ont pris quand même quelques rides. Je pense surtout à la flûte de pan échantillonnée qui en ce qui me concerne passe un peu difficilement 20 ans après.
Après si je reste pas trop fan du son d'ensemble (mais ça, tu n'y peux rien), y'a un truc qui m'a vraiment esbroufé, ce sont tes transitions... Parfois, le mélange des titres crée une ambiance assez hallucinante (par exemple, dès le début, entre la 2 et la 3, à partir de 8:00, avec la respiration et les nappes qui font le lien).
J'aurai presque aimé que tout le mix soit comme ça... A tempo et un peu vrillé !
