hey Hunt just had a listen to this today (soz so long.) broke is exellent i liked lots of them but that one stuck in my mind. lovely chilled out vibe on the mix as a whole and great to hear that daft punk tune again. well done my friend
I forgot to comment when I voted, apologies. I absolutely love this mix, Cut Copy track 9 is my favourite of them all! I love it! All great tracks and extremely well mixed, great combination of tracks, suits everyone's needs I think! Well done indeed! Lychee x
A slice of pure musical heaven. What I love is that you're able to pick a handful of amazing current tunes and integrate them perfectly with older classics, and it works so well. The familiar tunes act as aural touchpoints, to make the listener feel welcome. Very clever, and supremely enjoyable. You have a natural talent and your mixes are just getting better.
What a f@%king mix - just awesome...I've said it befor but not that often - "Its just great when you get that ecclectic mix just just hangs together so well" - and this is one of those mixes...man o man this is good...smiles all the way and my fingers are sore from clicking so hard...right on...more please..!!!
This is a mix of your previous mix changes that were more "disco". I find your choices in this trend disco. I'm a little surprised to hear "Daft Punk" in the play list, but it is and there! second surprise! a transition to "new order" was daring! I am immersed in the "new wave 80's" transition from "broke" and "alive and kicking" and certainly what I heard more rare. I love it! After that, Wang Chung "I love this song, it is part of my early days (1984 I think). I'm totally a fan of this kind of mix. To me, this mix is a rare quality because the play list is super, super well organized it very well mixed. To me it is a promotion. Congratulations Hunt!
Wow! Very cool. Kudos to you Hunt. Excellent job. Not only a great blast from the past but well mixed and great flow. You have definitely created a great vibe and that is with some tracks I never liked but you did it man!
The song remains the same... First, I take a look to the playlist and I say : "Gosh... John Oats... Daft Punk... Simple Minds... Scissor Sistors... What the Chicago Kid gonna do with that ?" After listening, my reaction is the same : "Yes, he did it. With "elegance" and precision. By example, the transitions between MJ, Cut Copy, Daft Punk, New Order are awesome. To be honnest, I hate "Alive & Kicking" and "Dance Hall Days"... these tracks remind me this kind of feeling : a boring sunday family diner throughout a november rainy day. But here, thanks to your talent, they are sublimated ! The HS magic touch certainly...
