big thanks for all who votd n commented on my guestmix for goin nowhere your supprt is always greatly appreciated my friends. this all drum and bass set continues where that mix left off but with the emphasis this time on contrast, hence the title, and with a bit more attention to detail. the first 25 mins is liquidy chilled out stuff with a light feel and then it pops into more jump up and darker bass tunes. watch out for twister and get down. they are really good to me but you can judge for yourself i really hope you like and as always pls vote if you want, but more importantly i hope you enjoy it. thankyou - David
Good work buddy. Great opener, followed by a good light/dark dynamic with the acapellas. As much as I hate fergie, you did a great job with her acapella. Cut throat is a monster track! Tight work my friend.
i really like this style - open with some more chill funky stuff and then get more agressive. that's generally how i like a mix to sound when i listen to it. if it starts out all nasty, then what do you have to build up to? that being said, i like both sides of the spectrum. the more lounge sounding stuff at the beginning is perfect, i love it, very well mixed. my personal favorite track is the one with the eddie amador accapella. its got that authentic late 90s dnb feeling, then track 10 cuts into a more futuristic sound like you would hear from nosia or something from the RAM label. all around very well mixed and a great variety of sounds, love the diversity - thats really what i look for when choosing a mix to listen to. great job.
That tracklist entry facility is a right royal pain in the arse. As many of us will already have created cue sheets for mixes, is there a possibility of including a cue sheet ripper on the site so you just upload the cue and it picks up the info direct? Start time, artist and title are already in the file.
I can't vote for your mix for the moment. Just a kind of bug. But you deserve a 50. Very cool mix with your personnal mashup/accapela touch. "Gal' quand tu pointes ton bumpa Ca m'rend dingue dingue dingue"
