cheeky but im very glad koz woudna heard it otherwise and what a mix...loving it Dj sophie olver
personally i think it would benefit from being ever so slightly slower...some of the speeds dont play the tracks at thei best but that just my opinion, lovely stuff...
give our mix a listen if ya have a chance, judging by this you might enjoy it,,,feedback would be great!!!
Well, I already left a comment, but I didn't vote for it. But it is never too late to say, that a mix is G.R.E.A.T. So is it the fact with DJane Sophie Oliver's Winter 2005/2006 Promo Mix that is opened by the warning sirens of Slam's "This World". The fierce bass and kick drums, the clicks'n'cutz alert the listener and make him sensible for the following hour full of tracks that are representative for a techy/electro side of house music. Technically, DJane Sophie Oliver is gliding through the tracks and is guiding her set with subtlety from the first until the last minute.
This is a very uplifting set full of powerfull tracks, but: is it a deep house mix??? I have little doubts, 'cuz the tempo seems to be a lil' bit too fast (133 BPM is kinda fast for deep house tunes) and the track selection is strongly influenced by techy/proggy/electro producers (e.g. SLAM feat. Tyronne Cooper "This World"; Guido Schneider; Yoshimoto's "Do What U Do",...).
