Keeping the deep house vibe alive - a bit more mellow mood than in the previous two sessions. Still soulful but definitely more athospheric and chilled, as per the title suggests: recommended for late night listening. Hope you enjoy.
Mmm needed something for a late night party coming up - probably the last outdoor event before the winter sets in...thanks again - this should do the trick nicely and get us clicking the fingers while we gather around the wood oven...
hi mate - long time no speak! Let me just say that this set is definately one of your best - it's absolutely superb and has had me smiling from ear to ear everytime I've listened to it (which has been a few times!).
That opening track is awesome - never heard that version by Incognito (who I know is one of your favourites) before! Have every faith that the Doobie Brothers would be happy with what they've done here.
Migs' Slap That Bass is one of my favourite tracks I've come across over the last few years - used it at a party last year - never fails to impress!
Can't remember the last time I heard Brand New Heavies but an old favourite - my personal preference was when they had N'Dea Davenport. I mean I've got nothing against Siedah Garrett - "Sometimes" is a great track (and the MAW version does it great justice) - but just preferred N'Dea (the Brother Sister album was brilliant). That whole personal thoughts we dicussed a while back.
Will check out more stuff by Meitz as I'd never heard "Mayibuye/Africa (Restless Soul Mix)" but really liked it.
Blue Six is a huge favourite - ever since I heeard Music & Wine a while back. To be honest the whole Naked Music label has brought out/promoted some great artists so I really like what they do.
The whole set is a joy to listen to - and more than stands up with your previous two Late Night Vibes sets!
Keep up the great work! Hope all is well with you and your Hi Fidelity thoughts are still going strong.
magnificient mix very pleasant and very relaxing to listen between the soulful jazz grooves and deep, you never get bored one minute more and it's great love "Incognito" I almost have all the albums with his very soul jazz groove thank you again for sharing, I pass now to my work (bar lounge pub) for drinks and dinner very soon the Friends for more wonders Allstyle & Co
Now this is what I'm talking about....AWSOME!!....you blew me away with this my friend....perfect in every way...I knew where you where going with this mix from track 1.....and you carried that soulful, jazzy, funky mood all the way through....your best to date Luved it!!

A gold medal mix right here! Every track is quality. Love the transition into the piano track at #15. Some great producers and remixers in this playlist. At times I sort of wanted some deeper and tougher edged bass lines in the style of perhaps Alton Miller, Steve Pointdexter, Aril Birkha or Moodyman...but that's just me.. Regardless...you nailed a VERY smooth classic deep house mix here and ended it with a positive vibey vocal. This one will get a pool party going real good!
