great compilation my friends, it would be a perfect ten if also Gonzalo Rubalcaba was taken in consideration. Sure it's the most interesting piano player in this bad moment for jazz music.

Done a restore ...now I can stream a little better.....some big names in this mix and put together very nicely, although suprised you placed this in the chillout section, this more jazzy beats boarding jazz funk but still a refreshing mix. If you like your jazz this mix is for you....top shelf

this mix really IS a gem, a mix of 100 points, as mentioned by Jass:MX below. i don´t download that many mixes from mix.dj, but this one goes straight to my harddrive, wouldn´t like to lose it

As ever my friend another great mix - and a nice slant on your Modern Jazz Stories series - this one more really focusing on the piano than No. 1, which I really liked (in fact I enjoyed both greatly, but for different reasons).

Two tracks/artists really stand out for me (for personal reasons), though the whole set is effortless mixed as ever:

Bobby McFerrin's "Invocation" - although I don't profess to know his catalogue off by heart, his work is brilliant (10 Grammys testifies to this) and this track in particular. A shame most people will only know him from his 1988 "hit' (I hate that word) "Don't Worry Be Happy", a song which he later stopped performing live due in part to over commercialisation.

Bruce Hornsby (& The Range)'s The Way It Is - remember buying the album of the same name and have always liked this song (pleasantly surprised to hear it sampled by Tupac, which I discovered a while back). Never heard the acoustic version before, and of course Track 11's masterful edit, but was glad to hear it.

All in all another brilliant set from a brilliant musical maestro. While I will never get to the lofty heights of the super skills that these skillful djs on mix.dj reach, the music is a constant source of inspiration, all of which is greatly appreciated.

Now this was something new to me, but I do have to say I really did enjoy this set. An excellent jazzy sound I think being a dance dj myself this was on mix absolutely enjoyed

An excellent example of blue DJ-ing. Inducing a very good mood, soundtracking a perfect day. Some of the tracks remind me of Mike Figgis' songs with Sting for "Leaving Las Vegas", epic soundtrack, epic movie. Quite something you have here, sir All due respect
