Man, you're just plain unbelievable! I'd say you're playing a trick on us and in reality you are Kenny Dope or Louie Vega himself... Well, on one hand Mr. Vega has a profile now here, on the other hand you are just _way_ smoother than MAW, you just fell that special vibe, hold on to it and make no compromise in the sound... I like it a lot.
If I had a club I'd hire you on the spot as a DJ :-) Probably not the best business decision since it's not the most popular genre, but definitely sits well in a lounge or private parties. Man, you should be playing in SF or Vegas in some hip bars!
For a moment I thought you were from Italy (confused you with Guido P - or maybe it's your photo in your profile?) So UK, eh? Wondering if you play live gigs, I'd definitely drop by...
I like the fact that you use some harder sounds, like Track 3 and 4 but there's still a definite RnB feel, it does not turn into underground deep house. Same with Track 5 which is instrumental but just so funky - one of my favs in the set.
Maurice Joshua (well, can't get enough of him) - this one reminded me of "U Don't Know Me" from Armand Van Helden, the old nu disco hit, similar sample.
And then - WTF!!!
Track 7 is a killer! Jeez! What a bassline! This sounds like a Paradise Garage song, can't think of the title now but the vocals are really similar... great tune man, it's a gem!
I have a strong feeling now that it was not just the confusion with Guido P and your picture, I could certainly bet that you have some Italian background, that would be definitely my tip if I just listened to this set without knowing the DJ.
It gets a bit more clubby with 10 and 11 but then the ending track is another nice find, awesome bassline and breezing feel...
Well done mate, keep up the good work!
