I have been collecting electronic music since the mid-1980's, but the CD that got me back into DJing was Paul Oakenfold's 1998 'GU007 New York'. I played that CD on repeat for years. It is progressive house, but with an adventurous mix of sounds that wouldn't normally go together. 'Ripple Tank' is my attempt to do the same. The result is an interesting catchy mix. When I first released this on Music V2, two thousand people played this mix in eight weeks, and it was playing on DI.FM for months.
