Many times we have to say that there's no words to describe your mixes, but I've just found the proper one, see above!
Even without listening I thought this should be nice judged by just a quick look at the tracklist: Zhane, Maxwell, Alexander o'Neil defines the mood I can expect and I see the very funky "Darlin" from Bob Sinclair feat D-Train Getting ready for some rollerskating disco-funk jams!

The intro track immediately brings in all those very good 90s acid jazz memories, this reminded me of a track called "Boogie Back". Zhane keeps that vibe, it's just so special, how good it was at that time listening to all these tunes, a very delicate, positive, sunny feeling, goosebumps all over but the calm ones.

Then it's a killer for me, haven't noticed it at first look! "What'cha gonna do with my lovin" is one of my favs, the Inner City version is on the tracklist for my "Trust The Vibe - Volume 2" set. This is however even more brilliant! I was impressed, it's so smooth and gentle, almost smooth jazz, but it's not, definitely funky RnB and acid jazz... Amazing!

It then just gets even more unbelievable with Lira, I'm speechless, this is wonderful, it's incredible how you pulled together all these tracks. Utterly enjoying it! Love the half note (maybe a full note?) key upshift at 13:50, quite a common technique to transpose the melody, it gives such an uplifting, happy feel to it (well, and it's already a happy song And it happens again at 15:10. Great composition.

Then you can still take it higher and keep the groove! Love the slapping bass in Track 5. For a moment I thought you made a typo here, since this very much reminded me of a Raphael Saadiq song - with a little researsh I realized that it was rather Musiq (Soulchild) and their song called Forthenight, surprising how similar they are in arrangement and sound, have a listen here:

Bit of a smooth jazz feel with the sax solo at Brian Lenair, but then the vocals are RnB and I the piano is really cool.

Not sure which Maxwell album this is from, my all time fav is the first Urban Hangsuit, then Embrya, I have the later ones too but I keep going back to the classics. However this is nice, tight and funky (as we expect) great change from the previous smoother sound. It gets really funky at the bridge at 30:19, that is a textbook definition of funkyness, James Brown would love it.

Alexander O'Neal is a big surprise, I only really know "Fake" and "Criticise" - this one has the Digital Underground "Humpty Dance" drum grooves samples underneath, one of my fav beats - in fact they also sampled it from Parliament and Sly & Family Stone (www.whosampled.com is a great source of these kind of information). Great jazzy instrumental track! Early acid jazz?

Woody Cunningham is an interesting combination of electro-funk sounding beats but real acoustic funk guitar riffs and trumpets on top, another crossover into smooth jazz. Excellent intro track into the pinnacle of the set, Darlin - Bob Sinclair's tribute to the great D-Train. There were quite a few house remixes of this, but this one you have is the real stuff!

Hehe, you love your Marving Gaye, whether it's "What's Going On", "Mercy, mercy" or "I want you" - always sneaking in a nice cover version!

This is a killer set, heavy funk vibes, pure enjoyment. You're sets are getting very dangerous, I'm seriously considering giving up mixing, why would I do it when you bring all my best music in your releases?
