I know you made this for the car, right the first one reminded me of a similar compilation I made for driving, I called it "Ka'anapali Coastin'" since it was made for the ocean drive of West Maui :-) It mainly has Benson, Norman Brown and Ronny Jordan tracks on it - including your intro track here from the "That's Right" album. Well, Benson lived in Maui for a while, no wonder he wrote these wonderful sunny tunes...

Nice transition to Track 2, the master's hand again ;-) Loved the slight disco feeling or 70s jazzfunk sound at Track 3 and 9. Track 3 is a bit like Incognito's "Inside Life" album in terms of the arrangement, I know you like that one, reminded me of "Love is The Colour".

All'n'all the whole set is a pleasant surprise for me - I knew most of the artists, but it was interesting to hear such an uptempo set, I really expected laid-back groove-tempo smooth jazz. Nice work, showing this face of the genre, the roots for jazzy deep house and also the crossover between smooth jazz and acid jazz.

Another timeless masterpiece.
