One of my turns - one of my fav tracks from The Wall, great lyrics like all the way through on that album - "my favourite axe" - "would you like to fly - would you like to see me try" - Roger Waters takes it to the top and then it mellows out - short but effective innuendo.
Coldcut does a lot of these mixes with spoken words and different genres, sound effects and TV jingles, it is now a trademark of their Solid Steel radio show that's been going on for more than a decade on BBC. Well, those guys (Jonathan Moore and Matt Black) actually made some software that was randomly putting together sound samples based on some vague rules, they got hight and listened to it for hours grabbing some of the good ones they've heard for future production - your mix reminded me of that story :-)
Ad Noiseam is a bit too much for me, it reminds me of Pat Metheny, the great jazz guitarist's "Zero Tolerance For Silence" album that was recorded using a single distorted electric guitar and did not have a harmonic chord in it for the first 25 minutes :-) (sounds exactly like this noise track :-)
Well, interesting concept, not sure if I could listen to the whole set though :-)
