Quite a unique set mate, well done! Like Lychee said it's uptempo but still has the lounge feel, which is brilliant given that it's all about exciting samba groove beats (that gave you all the headaches in mixing :-)

The first track could pass as a Masters At Work creation, if you know what I mean, the arrangement is like "El Barrio" from Benson, it has that typical MAW feel to it somehow, it's great! Then some tracks have definite nu jazz sound to them like Parov but all nicely fitting in with that latin vibe.

I like that the mix is quite groovy in the first half and then it chills out, goes to a more ambient sound still keeping the rumba beats. Bah Samba is just awesome, I've got so many great tracks from them (did not know this one).

This all makes me think of releasing my own "Brazilian Funk Affair - Sessao Dois" - however that is far not as subtle and smooth as yours. A masterpiece again, will have to listen to it many more on my iPod. Or just in the living room this week - I am down with a bad flu, this is the perfect medicine for that! :-)
