Man, the more I listen to this mix, the more unbelievable it gets. Tracks 2,3 and 4 sound like they came from DJ Premier's secret stash, I almost hear him breaking up the grooves to samples and the GURU rapping over them.

Well, this happens when you live close to London so you can do some real crate digging in the SoHo record shops... Or it's just the years of music collection - anyways, really appreciate that you're sharing this all with us Dimsa!

This is killer jazzfunk Dimsa! Now the first few seconds of the first track, doesn't it sound exactly like Michael Jackson's "Will You Be There?" Amazingly similar and I haven't found any mentions of that track being sampled or covered this Bill Conti song. Funny that they are both from soundtracks (Rocky III and Free Willy). I should check out all the Rocky soundtracks, just learned that Kool & The Gang's ultimate "Summer Madness" was also on one of the Rocky soundtracks... Someone had a excellent taste in music there.

The "Poinciana" song is one of my favorites, I like the original Ahmad Jamal version, this MFSB one as well but I think the best is from Gary Burton's Departure album, highly recommend it to everyone.
