If you are experiencing video trouble, difficulties launching the game, or getting kicked-back to the desktop, you may need to make some changes to the Display Settings. All of our newer games are designed to run in 16 bit High Color. If you are running your desktop at any other color resolution, there is a possibility that the color palette will not automatically adjust to 16 bit High Color. You will need to do this from the desktop.
Absolutely wicked mix this one.. As for the mixing, this is what I was talking about in my comment for Sunday Surgery. It sounds like you had a lot of fun mixing this one, and enough skill and confidence to "fool around" a bit more. It sounds really good mate.
A lot of the tracks are a bit harder than I like my tracks, but there's still a few liquid gems in here. All in all a really good mix, but Sunday Surgery is probably still my favorite
EDIT: Lol, bugger all, I just noticed that I pushed myself down from the 1st place on the DnB chart by voting for you now Gotta promote mine some more tonight
his skills were born in the melting pot of hell, yet he seems not to be one of us..maybe he is..the 1:one...he was taught by the best, yet no dj has the structure qualities nor delvecant prowes that beholds the one..the writing's on the wall..evil eats up every corner untill the one shows the path to the promise land..all you pussy ass djz who dont rekognize you beta step up..peace
yo gauze, this mix is solid....definitely better than the other mix I left a comment on. Solid mixing, and the records fit nicely next to each other. This mix is much harder and more interesting too, cuts, etc.. I love that last track by Muffler. Good shit. I'll let you know when I get some more mixes up.... Right now I haven't been mixing much cause of other projects etc.....
it's a Shame that theres so many famous DJ's getting payed to play a load of whack tunes and mix really badly - when theres DJ 's like this out there it seems like such an injustice. This mix is just oozing with quality - such an amazing selection of tracks especially that Neighborhood (Young AX)- where did that come from? Also Cyantifics little green men is an amazing choon. I think what overides the quality of the choons to highlight Gauze's exceptional Talents is the order all the choons are placed - everyone seems to flow really easily into the next. starting off with some slightly chilled tracks , slowly building and building up into a hectic mayhem of beats - faveroute heavy ones of mine would have to be track 14 - Tyrant, and tracks 16 and 17 are both HEAVY. The only 1 personal issue with this mix is I felt that Track 7 - desperado , by A.I. could have been left out and swapped with something a little less popular ( but it's still a good track) But generally Awesome - have heard this mix over 20 times now and still cant get enough - everyone living in my house knows it back to front
I will happily see you always leaving me in the dust at #2. This mix is solid in all aspects, definitely beating my technical skills. I really do dig your style as well... a lot of the crap kept overpowering this stuff and pushed me away from the techier part of drum n' bass, but this mix proves that there is still serious purity in this style.
I will even vote a 5 for you. Maybe you can, in return, check out my mix (sitting happily at #2 on the dnb charts) and return some of the criticism?
I appreciate it, and keep doing what you're doing.
Tight mixing....tune selection is other-worldly! 1-8 bring it in nicely...from "little green men" onward it just get's LARGE! As has already been said the rollingness of this mix is nice! one or two crowded mixes towards the 2nd half but still right on my button. U've done West Wales proud G-man!
This guy simply blew the Individual out of the water with this set in december @ the playground in Bath. I'm well made up now it's on my pod... Sweeeeeeet!!! Cheers Gauze 5/5, it sounded even better than this live!!!!
Yo.. big up everyone for the votes & comments.. much appreciated. Just wanted to note that track 15 Spirit - Out of Control is actually the Cause 4 Concern remix.. in case anyone was havin' sleepless nights wondering
yeah this mix is good, but not perfict. I hear quite a few mistakes in patterns but nothin too major. I like the nice rollin vibe you got on this mix m8.
Yea big up Gauze on this one.. HEAVY MIX. Download this to your hard drive.. burn it on 100 CD's and give one to every person you know, including your gran!! This is the good shit!
NOTE: THIS MIX WAS MEANT FOR A 5, NOT A 4 (dodgy laptop mouse caused the error) …This is one of the most refreshing and original D n B mixes that I have heard. Cleverly built and BRILLIANTLY executed. The guy is minted with talent and this gem of a mix showcases GauZe’s technical genius as well as his delightful track selection. A complete aural pleasure. Do your ears a favour and listen to this mix. Highly recommended: 5/5
