i do think that a dj mix is a part of a larger concept which is sound design. for me making people travelling by putting together music pieces is sound designing and the rest is only a question of technicals.

I appreciate the link that you provided. However, I'm not questioning if Javier is a DJ. He most certainly is and a damn good one! The debate is Compilation of songs vs A Mix. I agree with both of you philosophically but I disagree technically. Yes, Javier put a great mixture of single songs together with spaces between them.
