i do think that a dj mix is a part of a larger concept which is sound design. for me making people travelling by putting together music pieces is sound designing and the rest is only a question of technicals.

I appreciate the link that you provided. However, I'm not questioning if Javier is a DJ. He most certainly is and a damn good one! The debate is Compilation of songs vs A Mix. I agree with both of you philosophically but I disagree technically. Yes, Javier put a great mixture of single songs together with spaces between them. Point taken Javier. This is a great topic for debate, but this is not the place to have it. Again, and for the record, I like the tracks and the mood that you created. I guess my initial reaction was one of surprise. I couldn't believe that I heard spaces between songs coming from an accomplished Producer/DJ.

I myself consider it a mix as far as you proove me it's not

For me a mix is a composite piece of musics put together to bring you in another dimension for a certain time. That's what (i hope) my mix does.

I recongnize that there's no beatmatching there, but for me beatmatch is just a part of the globality of a dj mix, which is something mostly done to make you travel in your mind whatever you do to achieve this goal.

Maybe next time i will try with some classical pieces i have in mind, to try to bring your in other dimensions

I cannot vote on this because I don't consider it a Mix. However, it does qualify as a music compilation. It does have nice tracks and it is condusive to enjoying a good fast drive.
