Dj DanT is a long time subscriber to this forum, and I must admit that his style and shows are on the top of my favorites list. - I have listened to him as he has literally discovered his true mix style and honed & critiqued it to a very entertaining show.
Another DJ said "Electro / House is not for the faint hearted" - I agree because people have to be confident and brave in their mix style and choice. Brave because once you put yourself out their, you open yourself up for scrutiny and once the jealous Dj or hater get's a hold of you, your confidence can be really shattered. -
You won't find many who disagree that DanT is talented with his instrument, (the Mix Console).
I was so upbeat when i found out that Paul Oakenfold made a comment on my mix style once in Dj Magazine. Then I looked at what he said different, did not know until I met him if he meant what he said in a good way or bad. Well I have the same comment for DanT - and Like Paul's comment to me, it is good.

As Dj's we tend to get too involved in what we like, what goes good with my current track. Beats Per Minute Melody Mixing, etc. - I have found (like DanT has) that the MESSAGE is the key, if I touch or connect with my audience and they either interput my mix as what I am broadcasting, then my goal is reached. However on the other hand if my show or mix touches someone because I identify with what they feel from it.. Goal is also reached. - Feel The Mix, Feel the Rhythm, Feel The DJ -
I feel This Mix - Do you? - I bet you will if you do what I did.. Sit back, Relax.. Close your eyes, and open your mind.. - You feel it now.. Don't you?
