well i have to say, when I saw the tracklist I didnt think I would like it, but ive been very plesantly surpised. The mixing is also superb, following the natural rhythm of the tracks to create a lovely trance. Only thing I would suggest would have been to open with an instrumental track, something to create suspense or seduction, then mix out once you are into the hook. Maybe does sound like a formula, but it does work. Even go to soundfx.com if you want a sound like thunderstorm or earthquake or movie track.....this kind of thing adds a finishing touch to make your sound unique. And the vocal tracks are nice, but I would make them a little bit shorter? thanks for sharing with us and my comments dont take from the fact this a a great mix, made by someone with ear for trance
Welcome back Ucron!! Loved the beautiful trance vocal set you've put down this time, flows like fresh spring water and, no way, it has your trademark (not easy to describe, but the "Ucron's sound" is very distinctive and recognizable to my ears)...great job on the mixing side, very very armonic transitions (loved the piano sound gluing track 1 & 2, the nice "powerful uplifting bass" fading between 5 & 6 & 7 & 8 - masterpiece sequence - the vibrating 10 to 11 and the fantastic acoustic 11 to 12) and great tracklist, very emotional, progressive and rhythmic, and not a single track I didn't like. Congrats, superjob!!! They say that on the dancefloor vocals play just to women, but you know I totally disagree..... trance voices are the most evocative and sensual in the dance music world, and they play to males too!!! LOL LOL Killer track: #10 Friendly and respectfully. PS please keep me posted on future sessions!!!
