The On the Rocks is back ! Some Electro House in order to wake up is perfect, moreover when the selection is a Johnny Ice's trademark !
What I notice in the beginning is that you put in your mix a lot of vocal samples from other tracks, and that isn't easy. I do not remember, but it is like you have your first track, you are doin your transition, and between the two tracks, just a little vocal and here we go ! Those Cue points (I guess) are harder than your usuals vocals (Slap my Ass, Jooooohnnyy IIIIce, etc...). But as usual you show your skills, that's perfect.
Just the entrance of Electronic Electro where you double takl.
Wow, then you dare to put Alice Deejay in your mix. You are brave !
Otherwise, the selection is quite good but lighter than your 4 or 3. Less cheesy for now, less bangin too. But i am only at half, 35, taking a bit of Columbia Coffee !
Then, hard kicks and electro sounds on Lollipop. You sure want to get higher ! Because, time like this, people want to get high, real high and real fast, this how you gonna do !
And you quick pass to the power of Bad Boys 2008. In addition, I love your notification: Inner Circle (not Bob Marley). However, there is no link with Bob Marley, Inner Circle is a Jamaican reggae band of course, but it was created by Ian and Roger Lewis. And this electro track just take the name of their own Bad Boys track, made in the late 80's ! She was used in the Bad Boys movie too later !
"you gotta be movin now" on a sound much more like your previous sets. A punchy and clubby electro house ! With "agressive" skills !
Chop Shop is nIiiice !!! And great coherency with the next track. And the next too.
As regard Da Funk, I personally thinks that the track is wasted... I far prefer the original !
Anyway, that is again an awesome House Electro mix from you Johnny ! A 50 is compulsory. Nevertheless, and as usual, not fond of all your selection !
