Something a little different from me. As you may know I usually like to play funky and vocal house but for a change I decided to try an electro set. Don’t worry there will still be a new house set next month for those of you who like our tunes but have a listen to this and see what you think. My view is, if I have the tunes then why not play them. I am sure some of it sounds a bit dodgy but stick it out and there are some excellent electro tunes and the last one, Depeche Mode, is one of my faves.
Cheers

Absolutely brilliant, and Depeche Mode being my fav band in existence makes it all the more sweet (Sasha & Digweed/ Tenaglia/Kruder + Dorfmeister remixes of DM is what brought me to this site in the first place)! You've done a fabulous job.
Hi dalton23, don't know if you realise it but you gave me zero's for track selection and for overall feeling which has lowered the average score of the mix! If you did mean this then I appreciate your honesty and it is fair enough but if not please be careful and sure to score in all categories next time! gary
first, let me point out that i'm not that into "classic" electro house, since I believe that its one of the less "nice to ears" kind of music (and therefore less driving to dance...), but since I know your "background" in funky house I had a peek..... ....the final impression is more than positive! Some gems in this tracklist (the 90's covers remixes at track 4 & 5, plus the great sound from Depeche Mode....), a gorgeous funky beat all over makes this mix really enjoyable! Thank you!!! I'm experiencing also some progressive/electro sounds (both on the trance side and the house side) that are very much suited to my personal taste...maybe my next mix will be electric too! Cheers, Waves
I've got to be honest here and say that this is a bit too commercial for my liking. To many cheesey vocals. A couple of the tracks are kick ass though like the Dirty Cash track, although I'd have preferred it even more without the vocal. I do like vocals a lot, but prefer some individuality in regards to playing acapellas over tracks. I also feel that this electro sound is a bit dated at this stage.
Some of the sound quality is a bit dodgy, and a couple of the mixes off, but all in all a nice sounding mix that will do well on today's more commercial electro dance floors ...
Alright me son. Nice new mix mate I prefer the slightly less vocally stuff anyway - more squeeks and blips. Anything that pisses me gran off -I love. More Electro please. Good party in london the other week, I think......
There are some good tunes on it, and some of it is a bit dodgy, but that Depeche Mode is a perfect example of makes dance music laughable to outsiders - cheesy shite. The rest of it was alright though.
Don't like electro usually but found some nice tracks like the remix of Yazoo's Don't Go and the Depeche Mode track. Technically perfect and a great mix for electro fans I think!
Nothing to repeat once again, except the cover who does not change, always the same topic, but also quality in 128 kbps, one 160 would be well appreciated. Put besides these details, always some great vibes.
Awesome set here Gary, I also think it's good to have a change when mixing and Electro House is one I have also been working on. I have to say I love the Da Mode (Depeche Mode) – Enjoy The Silence Remix, now there is a classic track from the past. and keep up the good work.
