Music in all its variations is an essential part and enrichment of life - DJ Soulfood from Karlsruhe in the southwest of Germany kept this in mind since his early childhood. And yet this thought is reflected in his sets. Having got to know Drum & Bass by its easy, deep and beautiful sides and being influenced by Detroit and Deep House he is one of the few DJs in his region, who commits himself to the more deeper side of Drum & Bass and constantly stands up for that sound. For years he has provided for the necessary Funk not only on the dancefloors of his city with his fusion of - one might think - actual complementary music styles, a mixture of cool Soul and synthetic Drum & Bass beats. Establishing Drum & Bass to a wide audience out of scene-circles as well and giving them an understanding of the beautiful sides of Drum & Bass are his main goals. His mission: making the crowd groove and leveraging Drum & Bass.
